Welcome back, friend. Today we’re gonna talk about the things that block us from manifesting, and in fact, I’m gonna dive into the six different things that tend to block our manifestations from coming to life. And if you know me or if you’ve been in my program or worked with me in any way, shape, or form, you know that I believe that.

Abundance is our natural state of being. Abundance and wholeness is who we are. It is who we are at our core, but our opportunity and the way to actually experience the abundance and the fullness of life and the fullness of who we are is to release. That which is in the way of knowing it, which is in the way of experiencing it.

So that means that manifestation is just as much a releasing process as it is a. Reprogramming process or a taking on new beliefs process? Right. I think so often we think, I need to change. I need to take action. I need to create new beliefs. I need to have more and more, more. But really oftentimes, in order to manifest what you desire, it’s actually about letting go of some of the patterns and habits that are getting in the way.

Of you just being in your fullness and you knowing that abundance is your natural state. So we’re gonna talk about six different things that you may want to shift or release if your manifestation is not coming to life. And this is a very simple episode, so. You’re gonna be able to identify what that might be for you.

And my encouragement is to really practice releasing those things, and I’m gonna give you suggestions on how to do it. So let’s dive into what are the six different manifestation blockers? Number one, a lack of clarity. Or a lack of direction. That is huge. You hear so often, I just want money. I wanna be rich.

Why don’t I have this in my account? Why am I not debt free yet? Why have I been struggling this for this for so long? And yet so often the problem is we haven’t really decided what it is we want. We haven’t been specific with it. We haven’t claimed it. We haven’t said, this is the exact number I wanna see in my account.

This is the number that I wanna see on my credit card bills. This is exactly what I want it to look like. This is what I want it to feel like. This is how I want to think about it. This is who I want to become. That kind of clarity. It’s gonna help you get there, but if it’s just really vague, right, Jack?

Let’s see. Jack Canfield. Yeah. Jack Canfield says Vague goals. Create vague results. Clear goals. Create clear results, right? Specific goals. Create specific results. So getting more clear on the direction that you’re going is gonna help you manifest. So much better and easier. You don’t wanna be vague about it.

You don’t want it to just be, oh, I don’t wanna be in debt anymore. I don’t want, I just wanna have money. I wanna feel like I have money to spend, right? I wanna have overflow. What does that actually look like? Get clear. That makes all the difference because when you get clear, you actually claim that that’s the direction you’re going and that is gonna help.

So much. So a lack of clarity can really be a manifestation blocker. So my encouragement is to just get more clear, get more specific, and like I said, get specific. And how do I wanna feel? How do I wanna think, who am I becoming? What is it exactly that I wanna create? What is it that I wanna see? Create a visual around it.

Create a vision board, write it down, make a specific list. It is gonna be such a game changer, right? If you think about it, people who make a bucket list for their life. It is much more likely that they’re gonna do those things that they wanna do in their lifetime. If they have a bucket list written down with a little checklist and they go through it, and they look at it and they have awareness of it than if they don’t, right?

So getting clear makes all the difference. So that is number one. Number two, this is a huge manifestation blocker. In fact, we spend an entire month inside of my program. Releasing this and reprogramming this, and it is worrying. Worrying is the ultimate manifestation blocker. Now let me tell you why that is.

What are we doing when we’re worrying? We are visualizing worst case scenario. We are literally creating a mental picture in our mind and a thought pattern in our mind that we are repeating over and over and over of what could go wrong. What’s the worst that could happen? I hope this doesn’t happen.

It’s a loop of complete fear over and over and over, and I want you to think of worry as restating a mantra of what you don’t want. Over and over and over and over in your mind and creating that mental picture for yourself. It is literally manifestation, but you are manifesting what it is you don’t want.

And here is the beautiful thing about worry is it’s a habit. It is a habit. It is a mental habit. They can absolutely. Be shifted just like any other habit, and it’s really important that we have compassion with ourselves. If we have the habit of worry, we don’t want to then shame ourselves and say, oh my gosh, I’m negatively manifesting.

Oh no, I can’t worry. And then end up making matters worse. Worrying because you’re worrying that’s not what we wanna do. You just wanna be aware that. You know, it probably help if you worry just 10% less because 10% less is gonna help so much, right? So start small and know that you can train your brain to think another way.

So often the reason that we worry. It’s because we think it’s necessary in order to protect ourselves. We think if I worry, then bad things won’t happen to me, or if I worry, then I’m going to know how to protect myself if something happens or I’m gonna know what it feels like if, if the worst case scenario gets there, right?

We think it actually motivates us and helps us, or we think if we’re worried about it, it’s gonna. Prevent it from happening. But really when we worry about something, it just creates drama in our mind. It creates a negative experience for ourselves. It doesn’t feel good. It’s just a fearful pattern that doesn’t protect us.

It doesn’t prevent it from happening, right? It just feels really, really bad. So I think we have to teach ourselves that worrying is unnecessary, like worrying isn’t actually productive. Right? And that’s. A practice that I did it. I forgive myself for buying into the misbelief that I have to worry about this.

I forgive myself for buying into the misbelief that worrying is productive. I forgive myself for buying into the misbelief that I have to keep thinking about this in order to protect myself. It is simply not true. Now, if you wanna make peace with worry, there’s many things that you can do. And I do a lot of teaching, um, within my program on this of how to stop worrying about money, how to stop worrying about your business.

And I’m gonna give you just a couple of pieces here on the podcast. Number one. One thing that can be really helpful is actually making peace with worst case scenario. This is something that I recently did ’cause I noticed myself in a habit of worrying about something. With the house and you know, my whole move and all of that.

Um, and I noticed I was worrying, oh no, what if we don’t find something? What if it doesn’t happen? What if it doesn’t sell? What, like, what are we gonna do? I’ve been visioning this and I noticed myself going there. I’m like, oh my gosh, Jamie. No, no, no. We don’t do this. Right? So I caught myself. I didn’t shame myself.

Of course, I’m a human, so it happens. But what I did was I went to worst case scenario. I literally wrote it down. I wrote, what’s the worst that could happen if I don’t sell my house? Or if I don’t sell it for the price that feels like a match to it, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? If it doesn’t sell within six months, what am I gonna do if I don’t find a house in Maui that works for us?

What are we gonna do? I actually went there and he said, what am I literally gonna do? Let’s pretend it happened. Worst case, we don’t sell our house, we don’t find a home. What are we gonna do? And I wrote out, I guess this is what we would do. It and I decided to make peace with that reality because I realized, oh wait, it wouldn’t be so bad, right?

Maybe I would just wait till the market shifts and put my house back on the market in another time. Maybe I would rent my house out instead of selling it. Maybe I would look at a different island or be guided to something different. You know, if I really can’t find a house where I want it, well maybe the universe is guiding me.

So I made a list of all the worst case scenario that I was worried about, that in my mind felt horrible. And I realized, okay, is this wanted? No, of course I want my specific vision, but I can make peace with that reality. It’s not so bad. And what I realized is. Once I went there, I’m like, I don’t have to keep worrying about this because if worst case scenario happens.

I will figure it out. Right? And then from that place, this comes in the next step, which is go to best case scenario. Remind your brain that there’s also a best case scenario that the way that we are looking at our future, the future is unknown, right? And so if we go to, worst case, we’re just imagining it anyway.

Right, but we can also imagine best case and you have to sometimes bring your brain there. So that’s what I ended up doing. I said, well, what if everything worked out even better than I could have ever imagined? What does that ideal scenario look like? And I literally wrote it out, what if. What if everything works out better than I imagined?

What if this is the best thing that ever happened? What if this time was super necessary that it took to sell the house, find a new house? What if it all comes together at the same time? And it’s even better than I could have ever dreamed of? And I literally wrote this out. Here’s best case scenario. What if within a month we’re moved?

Right? What if everything goes really gracefully from here? And all of a sudden I realized there isn’t just as much of a chance, if not more, not even. If not, there’s more of a chance of the best case scenario happening than there is the worst. So I just made peace with both of those realities so that my brain could take a break from like worrying about it and thinking about it.

I just decided to make peace with it. Now the other thing, if you have a habit of worrying. Basically, it just means you are not in the present moment. You are in the future. You are in an unknown future that you are making up, which is so important to recognize. Worry is made up, right? We are literally imagining something that is false.

It is made up. It is just a potential, and there’s a million other potentials, so. What you can do is come back to presence, right? And one of my favorite teachers is Zart Tole because he is the master teacher at coming back to presence. This practice is huge if you tend to be a worrier, because you cannot be both present and worried at the same time.

So you have to learn to bring your brain, your brain back to now. Back to this moment, back to today. In fact, one of my favorite things to ask myself, wait a minute, Jamie, what’s true right now in this exact moment? What’s true right now? Not what could be true later. What could happen? It’s. What is true and what is real right now and grounding myself in that, coming back to today, to now, to this moment.

And that helps break that habit of worrying. So when you notice yourself worrying, coming back to the present moment makes all the difference, right? And one of my favorite thoughts that helps me a lot is choose. So I choose this thought, which is that my future is bright. Right when we are worrying, we’re kind of thinking about a negative future.

So I like to remind myself, wait, Jamie, but my future is bright. I know that my future is bright, even though maybe I’m in a lot of uncertainty right now, even though I might be nervous right now, even though I might be emotional right now, or I might not see all the possibilities. What I know is that my future is bright and things are unfolding on my behalf in a way that I can’t see right now.

So practice this thought. If you tend to worry, my future is bright. In fact, that can be a really good mantra for you. Something you can put on your phone. Have that pop up a couple times a day. It can be so powerful. Okay, now I wanna move on to the third, uh, manifestation blocker, which is overthinking.

It’s very similar to worrying because overthinking is also a habit. It’s when we go way too far in our head, when we go super, super mental, right? Meaning like. We’re just in our head and we’re only looking at the past to decide what’s possible for our future. We think we need to figure it all out in our head, and we’re trying to solve it in our head, and you can tell, because usually you’re gonna feel overwhelmed.

You’re gonna feel tired and depleted and exhausted, and it’s not gonna feel like there’s an answer. And overthinking is a manifestation blocker. Here is why you are not gonna manifest from your head. Right. You are not gonna solve this from your head. Manifestation is very much a gut instinct. You have to learn to tune into your inner knowing in whatever way you do that.

You have to go internal and get quiet, and you have to listen, and you have to. Feel for the answer. You have to feel for just the next step. And once that is revealed, then you can get your brain on board and say, okay, how am I gonna implement the next step? Right? But it really is a body centered, intuitive knowing really going inside.

First process and practice, especially if you are creating something that you’ve never created before, you’re not gonna be able to solve it from your brain. ’cause your brain can only solve problems that it knows that you’ve solved in the past, right? So if you tend to be an overthinker, I am gonna encourage you to practice going inward more, which means doing things like meditating and slowing down and sitting down and going inside.

Which could be journaling, right? Asking yourself powerful questions. Ask Chat, GPT. Hey, give me some really good journal prompts. I wanna start going inward. I wanna ask myself and my intuition, powerful questions around this manifestation. Sometimes I literally do that with chat GPT. I’m like, give me some prompts.

I wanna go inward. I’m too much in my head. Help me. Get out of it. What questions can I ask myself? What can I reflect on? And that’s gonna help you go inside, right? Also, with overthinking, oftentimes it’s just you’re doing too much. You need to get out in nature, you need to slow down. You need to take your lunch outside, inside, in the sunshine or in the nature, and take a moment to just breathe and slow.

Down that will make all the difference. And you have to remind yourself, if I wanna manifest an epic life, it’s not gonna come from my head. It is going to be an inward process. Let’s slow down. Let’s listen. Let’s tune in. That’s where the magic happens. All right? The. Fourth manifestation blocker is trying too hard, is trying to force something to happen.

That is why I am an anti hustle coach. I am not about the hustle, and I’m not saying you don’t take a lot of action. I’m not saying you don’t move. I’m not saying you don’t. Move from inspiration and, and do a lot of things. I’m saying you don’t hustle in that. You are not trying to force it into existence through your actions and do all the things and leave no stone unturned and just go, go, go.

Trying to force it into existence because my friend, you will be exhausted. You will burn yourself out. It’s not gonna work. Your business will only grow to a certain extent before you are burnt. It doesn’t. Work. So stop trying so hard. And in some ways this can be such good news, especially if you have been trying to force something into existence that is not how you manifest it is going to block you from manifesting.

So sometimes it really is about putting your hands up in the air and saying, I. Surrender, I surrender. Show me the way. I can’t do this all alone. This is a co-creative process. This isn’t just a me grinding my way into it, right? So sometimes you have to stop trying so hard. And what is wild is yes, that can feel very scary.

It can take a lot of courage to slow down and stop trying to force it or make it happen, and usually. In the beginning of when you stop trying so hard, it does feel uncomfortable. That slowing down feels like I’m not doing anything. What the heck? But that’s typically when if you give it enough space, things start to align for you.

That’s where some magic can start happening. So I want you to ask yourself, where can I release? The reigns a little bit. Where am I trying too hard and where can I lean into a little more surrender? And I did a whole podcast episode on this on. The power of surrendering. Right? Um, and the difference between consciously manifesting and surrendering and balancing that out.

Um, so you can listen to that episode. If you are in that space of like, you’re just trying to force things into existence, I think you’ll like that episode. It’s a few back. Okay. The next manifestation blocker that I wanna touch on is a biggie. This is a huge one, and this is oftentimes the one that I’m coaching on.

Uh, the most in order to help people release it, which is attachment. Attachment is when you are convinced you absolutely need this manifestation. You need this thing in order to feel a certain way. What I mean by that is, let’s give you an example. I need my business to reach a hundred thousand dollars so that I can feel worthy and successful and like I belong and like I’m contributing and I’m not gonna let myself feel sick.

Successful until I’ve hit this income milestone. And for some of you, that might be a hundred thousand. For some of you, it might be a million dollars. Right? But I see this a lot in business where people are really attached to their goals and they’re literally hustling their way to the goal because they’re so attached thinking, I need this thing.

I have to have this thing, otherwise I’m not gonna be okay. And none of us are immune from this meaning like. I have it too, where I notice myself getting attached to things and I have to release that. I have to undo that attachment. And sometimes it takes some work, it takes some effort to release that attachment for me.

Not effort, but it takes some internal, you know, work and shifting and being with it and sitting with it to finally let go and let up on it. And typically when you do that, that’s when things start flowing with so much more. Ease. And I’ve seen this so often where people felt like, I have to have this thing, I gotta make it happen.

And they were using force and control and trying to make it happen. And the minute they let go and said, you know what? Nevermind. I don’t need it. I don’t need it, or I’m gonna be okay without it. Or, what would my life look like without it? And they make peace of, I don’t have to have that thing. Or they do the work where they can develop the emotions that they want in advance, meaning they decide.

I can see that I’m successful now before I even have this thing right? And I’m gonna start embodying that now. So they stop needing it so much. They say, you know, I still want it. I’m still gonna go for it, but I don’t need it. And that is when things start to flow. So releasing attachment makes all the difference.

And it can be, the thing that is clogging up your manifestation is if you are too attached to it, how do you know you’re attached to it? It just feels tight. It feels. Forceful. It feels like something you absolutely need. It feels hard. It just, it’s. Not something that is flowing for you. Alright? And this is something you can absolutely get coaching on.

Um, it makes a huge difference. Okay. Last one is, and again, I’m saying, oh, the attachment’s so important, but all of these are equally important. This one’s huge. The last manifestation blocker is your limiting beliefs, right? Holding onto your limiting beliefs. And I, I put unconscious limiting beliefs because oftentimes we’re not aware of ’em.

And that is where getting coached or going to therapy or doing internal work or starting to meditate can help to reveal the beliefs that have been in the way of you manifesting it. ’cause sometimes we have competing intentions, sometimes we think. I’ll give you an example. I wanna make a lot of money and I wanna contribute to my family, and I want a successful, impactful business.

But then the other in competing limiting belief is, but it’s wrong to want money and I shouldn’t want money and I don’t wanna make offers. And I feel guilty if I’m charging money, right? There’s competing intentions there that’s gonna block your manifestation from happening. So it is so important to start becoming aware of what.

Are those beliefs that are competing for you, that are limiting you, that are blocking you from allowing that into your life with more grace and ease. And sometimes when we just shift one belief, so much opens up for us. And I love this work around money because this is what I do day in and day, day in and day out with my clients, and I see.

The effects of looking at your money beliefs, being willing to change them and shift ’em and releasing your limiting beliefs. My goodness, so much abundance is on the other side of that. So I just want you to think about that. What about, what if manifesting more money isn’t necessarily. About trying harder or getting the exact right marketing or getting the right exact plan, but maybe it’s about looking at the beliefs that you’re holding about money and about your business and noticing they’re not facts.

Those are thoughts. Those are limitations that you’re holding and being willing to challenge them or get coached on them or work through them or do tapping around them. That release is gonna open up so much abundance for you. So I hope this episode was helpful. Sometimes I think it’s helpful to know we don’t have to necessarily do more.

Sometimes it’s just about releasing a habit that’s unhelpful and that can open up the world to us. So I’m very excited for you and I would love to hear if there’s anything that resonated for you on this episode. Um, so if you want to leave. A podcast review that would mean the world to me, or you can come and let me know over on Instagram at Jamie Berman.
