Manifesting a Multiple 6-Figure Business from a Calm Brain with Cecelia Mandryk

Listen In!

About the episode:

We’re continuing our series today that’s highlighting past and current members of The Soulful Six Figure Mastermind – I’m excited to introduce you to Cecelia Mandryk, a coach and educator helping high achievers make their brain a calmer place to be without burning down their life to do so. She has been a coach for a short amount of time but has already created massive results (including a $40K+ month!). But I love this conversation because Cecelia shows the work that it took to get to this point, the work that a lot of people gloss over, like learning to give herself rest and heal her nervous system, to the constant practice of facing her limiting beliefs head on and giving herself the space and time to move through them. If you’re a perfectionist and/or high achiever, this episode will give you practical insights and tips to feeling more calm and rested so that you can put your energy toward living a life that is in alignment with what you actually desire.

Topics discussed:

  • Is this all there is? And how this question prompted Cecelia to break from her career as a geologist on oil rigs to become a yoga teacher, breath coach, and then a life coach
  • What it looks like to give your body true rest and how this positively impacts your brain, your body, and the work you desire to do
  • Giving yourself permission to explore and take time to find the career that is in alignment with your passion(s)
  • How Cecelia’s work connects physical and spiritual practices to cognitive work to help her clients create lasting change in their lives
  • What Cecelia’s manifestation practices looks like and the thoughts that have really worked for her and what she has manifested in her business
  • Detaching yourself from the results of your business so that they don’t mean something about you and you can consistently focus on growth
  • The practice that Cecelia teaches her clients to step out of shame, anxiety, anger, etc. and into the role of conscious observer to calm their nervous system and create positive change
  • Letting go of attachment and graspy energy to manifest with more ease and life life in a way that serves you
  • Cecelia’s thoughts on the Soulful Six Figure Mastermind and everything that it has taught her

[00:00:00] Jamie: There we go. There we go. Can you hear me? Yes. Yeah. See you perfectly. You look beautiful.

[00:00:28] Cecelia: Thanks. Happy Friday. Yeah, me too. I love your podcast. I love your interview. So, um, always so fun to, I mean, I like talking about what we do is just always so much fun. So like every time someone asks, like, yeah, I’ll do that.

[00:00:45] Cecelia: Totally. A

[00:00:45] Jamie: hundred percent. I know I’ve been like so inspired just like listening to everyone’s interviews. I love it. It’s so good. It’s so fun. It must be so much fun

[00:00:54] Cecelia: to do.

[00:00:55] Jamie: It is. It’s so fun. Um, I [00:01:00] apologize. I normally send over some questions beforehand, but I totally had it in my head. I’m like, Oh, I think this is our one on one call because everyone’s been booking it.

[00:01:07] Jamie: Like at the end, I

[00:01:10] Cecelia: need to do that.

[00:01:12] Jamie: So I’ll just go over some of the things that I thought maybe we could talk about and you let me know what you think about that. And then, um, you know, if there’s anything else you want to bring in, like I welcome all ideas. But of course the core is like creating a calmer brain and how to actually do that and like how that has impacted your business.

[00:01:31] Jamie: I’d love to hear a little bit of backstory on how you got into that. Um, and then I know, so before coaching, you were in, were you in science, right?

[00:01:43] Cecelia: Yeah, I was a geologist, so I worked in oil and gas.

[00:01:45] Jamie: Yeah, so I, I would love to dive into like, since that was such a like, probably more like, Logical, maybe more masculine type of, you know, analytical thing, how you’ve managed to bring [00:02:00] femininity now into your business and balance the two.

[00:02:03] Jamie: Yeah. And yeah. And then I always love to ask about like the manifestation practices that you use, what’s worked for you, like what your kind of unique process is and how you like to manifest. And, um, Just talk also about like your relationship with money and like how that’s maybe evolved a little bit too.

[00:02:25] Cecelia: Cool. That sounds great. Okay.

[00:02:26] Jamie: Awesome. I love it. Well, it’s already recording. So I’ll just do a quick, tiny little intro and then I’m going to have you like fully introduce yourself and then we’ll just dive in. It’ll be very conversational and fun. And I have an editor. So if we mess up or if, you know, yeah, just go ahead and start over.

[00:02:44] Cecelia: I love when, I love when like the advice with most podcast editors, they’re like, yeah, If something goes wrong, all you have to do is like pause for a few seconds and then like start again and it’s fine. We’ll handle it.

[00:02:54] Jamie: It’s the best. Thank goodness. Awesome. Okay. [00:03:00] So I’ll, I’ll just get started by introducing yourself.

[00:03:04] Jamie: Hi everyone. We are continuing on with the Soulful Six Figure Mastermind Client Series. And we have my amazing client Cecilia here today. I’m super, super excited about this interview because Cecilia has an amazing specialty that I think all of our listeners are going to soak up, um, and just get so much out of.

[00:03:30] Jamie: So Cecilia’s specialty is creating a calmer brain and she specifically does it for high achievers, right? And I think that creating a calmer brain is probably one of the biggest foundations to creating a successful business and a sustainable business. So I really was like, so excited to ask Cecilia to come on and just share her wisdom around that and share some tips with you all.

[00:03:52] Jamie: And I want to hear personally her story of how she got into it and So we’re going to dive in. So Cecilia, [00:04:00] welcome. Thank you for being here. Maybe you can share just a little bit more about what you do, what your business is and how you got into it.

[00:04:09] Cecelia: Yeah, of course. Um, thank you. I’m so excited to be here.

[00:04:11] Cecelia: I’ve loved being in the mastermind. So I’ll just start with that. Um, And I, as you said, I’m a coach for high achievers who want to make their brain a calmer place to be. And the caveat I usually add on there is without burning your life down, because some of us think that a calmer brain might be possible, but we’d have to like move to Bali and like surf full time, or we’d have to like, our kids would have to like magically become different people, or we’d have to like never have traffic in LA or something like that.

[00:04:38] Cecelia: Right. Um, so it’s figuring out how to make a calmer brain. In your current life, not to say that you might never want to make changes, but it’s figuring out how to create that calm first and then using that, as you said, a foundation for whatever that is, whether it’s your business, whether it’s for working in a corporation, whether it’s with your family, whether it’s as you move into retirement, and really using that as a [00:05:00] way to find joy in your life, find purpose in your life, even finding that contentment that so many of us are looking for.

[00:05:07] Jamie: Oh my gosh, I love that. And I love what you said, like you said, adding that caveat of doing it and creating more, right? Because I think it, it really is such a misconception that it’s either or. I either have to grind and create the things and overwork and hustle and just be in my masculine. Or I can be calm, but that means I can’t create anything.

[00:05:28] Jamie: I can’t make money from calm or I can’t whatever it is. Right. And that is the biggest misconception. So I definitely want to dive into how can we break free from that? But first I’d love to hear how you got into that. Like, how did that become your calling?

[00:05:43] Cecelia: Yeah, of course. Um, so I, started my career as a geologist in oil and gas, which means that I think I just got rid of my coverall.

[00:05:53] Cecelia: Actually, I used to work on rigs in the North Sea for a while, so took helicopters to rigs and worked 12 hour shifts, [00:06:00] shared rooms with a bunch, you know, like with some guy. Not, we didn’t share, we had 12 hour shifts. You know, back and forth. Yeah. Um, and then worked in the, you know, the corporate office. And so worked on massive projects, you know, 30 year, multi billion dollar, uh, production, um, packages and production projects.

[00:06:19] Cecelia: And I was one of those people that on the outside looked like I had everything together and looked like I was totally calm. And then I was living the dream life. And on the inside, I was miserable. Yeah. I had a lot of anxiety. I just felt like I wasn’t happy. Right. And I was sort of in that place. I think a lot of people can get to just like, is this all there is like, is this really all I’m going to do for the rest of my life?

[00:06:40] Cecelia: Um, and as somebody who had an engineer father, um, and really felt the pressure. And I mean, I really grew up with this belief that a technical job was the only good job to have. I think that was the right job, and so I felt a massive amount of pressure to stay in that field, even though I was really called to do something else.[00:07:00]

[00:07:00] Cecelia: And I started making shifts and changes by yoga. I think that probably resonates with a lot of people. I started going to yoga classes and I did a kind of yoga where I practiced six days a week eventually and started meditating and started doing breath work and really started to find peace within myself, even though I hadn’t changed anything on the outside, right?

[00:07:19] Cecelia: I was still doing the exact same job. I was still in the same relationship. I was still in the, everything else on the outside looked the same and I probably looked the same to many people, but I felt so much different and I felt really secure. Um, And then from there I had the courage to leave geology, which is something I’d been dreaming about for a long time.

[00:07:36] Cecelia: And I left after about a decade and then really gave my chance myself the chance to rest, which was so key because I’d finally gotten to the place in my nervous system where rest was okay. So I slept for about a month.

[00:07:49] Jamie: That’s what happens. Gosh, it was like, yeah, I remember you sharing that

[00:07:55] Cecelia: somewhere.

[00:07:56] Cecelia: Yeah. So nice. Right. Yeah. And I really gave myself. [00:08:00] As somebody who’s been an achiever and really got their worth from how well I was doing and how many things I was doing and you know how big my resume was, how long my extracurricular list was, I said I didn’t have to do anything. And so I would wake up, I was actually in India at the time practicing yoga.

[00:08:17] Cecelia: I got up in the morning, I went to yoga, I came back, somebody else was making me lunch. So I just like ate the lunch that someone else made me. And then I would take a nap for like six hours and then I get up, have some dinner and then I go back to sleep. And I think I did it for like 30 or 40 days. Yeah.

[00:08:32] Jamie: Your body just needed it. Right. When we go for that long, then yeah, it’s like we need a period. I had the same experience. I didn’t even know I needed it, but I knew something was wrong. And when I gave myself permission to rest and did that work around it, I couldn’t believe it. How tired I was, how much I just needed to lay in bed and it was for me, it was really challenging, but it sounds like you got to the place where you created safety around that.

[00:08:58] Cecelia: Yeah, I think, yeah, I [00:09:00] think I had imagined maybe I needed like a week of it or maybe, you know, so most of us imagine like, oh, I just need a beach vacation for a week. Um, And I had done the work to make it safe, right? So I had tried to rest before it was almost impossible for me to rest. Like I was one of those people who would like actively rest.

[00:09:15] Cecelia: I’d be like resting, but I’d like secretly be reading a book or I’d secretly be like doing something at the same time. Um, and so having that space to, to, to actually rest and take time off was so powerful. In the back of my head, I secretly thought that I was going to be working on the requirements to get like a nutrition degree at the same time.

[00:09:34] Cecelia: Um, like I was supposed to be taking a biology class or something and through the rest and through the work, I totally gave that up because again, in the back of my head, I still thought a technical career was good. Something science based. Um, and from there I really started exploring using yoga. Like that side, that spiritual side, that like more physical side to support people.

[00:09:54] Cecelia: Um, as a young kid, I knew that I wanted to help people live better lives. That was like my dream as a young child. [00:10:00] I didn’t know what that looked like. Of course I wanted to be a doctor like most people do, right. When that’s what their goal is. And then as I. mature to my own practice, I noticed how a lot of times in yoga or in breath work, you’re missing the cognitive piece and we’re only addressing half of the person.

[00:10:16] Cecelia: And so I actually got a degree in mental health counseling. Um, but in the middle of that discovered coaching and was like, no, this is so much more my speed and immediately got certified in the life coach school and shifted and started seeing clients almost immediately.

[00:10:31] Jamie: Wow. Um, what a journey. Yeah. I mean, it

[00:10:35] Cecelia: took, it took a while.

[00:10:36] Jamie: Okay. So how, what was, yeah, I’m curious. How long was that journey from having the courage to leave your geology career to starting your, you know, you, you, it sounds like you went through a What do you call it? Yeah,

[00:10:51] Cecelia: yeah. No, I mean, like spiritual, I mean, you can call whatever you want to write. Like, I mean, like spiritual awakening, like, I mean, I think actually for the first time I was able to see what I wanted [00:11:00] in life and I was able to like, honestly ask myself, I think before it was so convoluted what I wanted.

[00:11:05] Cecelia: You know, if you’d asked me as I was studying to be a geologist and I wanted to be a geologist, I would have like said yes. Right. But if, you know, Like, I was really honest. I didn’t want to be a geologist, right? I didn’t want to study that. That’s not what I was interested in. Um, and so I, so I was a geologist, um, until about 2015.

[00:11:26] Cecelia: Okay. And then I was, I actually lived in a yoga studio for a little bit in the closet, which is kind of a fun story. Um, uh, was like a yoga instructor for the next couple years. Okay. And started really officially coaching in like 2020.

[00:11:42] Jamie: Okay. Were you seeking during that time? Were you like, okay, I know I don’t want this.

[00:11:49] Jamie: Did you know what you did want it? Or was it more of a process of figuring that out? What was that during that time?

[00:11:55] Cecelia: It was more the Buddhist thing of like, not that, not that, not that, not that. I gave myself [00:12:00] full permission to explore. Right. So I was like, I would just follow the next kind of intuitive.

[00:12:07] Cecelia: like move. And so as a result, I’ve like was a yoga teacher for a while and spent time in India doing that. Um, and then I got certified in breath work and really saw like the power of that and, and have taught people breath work on and off, um, since like 2017 and then added like yoga Nidra training in there and also studied Ayurveda as like a path because like, they’re all, They’re all kind of like in the realm of what it is.

[00:12:35] Cecelia: And it was so interesting. I always had like, okay, I think I’ll take this course. Okay. I think this is the next one. And as soon as I found coaching, it all just like fell away. It was like, I haven’t had a desire to study like anything else and not, not, not take courses and like expand, but it’s no longer like, Oh, let’s see if this is it.

[00:12:51] Cecelia: Or let’s see if this is it. As soon as it was there, it was like, okay, that’s where I am. That’s what I’m doing. This is like, At least for now, this is like my calling and I [00:13:00] feel I love it. It’s so much fun. I love working with clients. Um, it’s the work is so beautiful and the work that I do, I get to marry some of those physical practices and the more spiritual practices with, um, the cognitive work.

[00:13:14] Jamie: Incredible. And I think that’s such a lesson for anyone who’s going through that process of, I know what I don’t want, but I don’t know what I do want yet. I personally went through that with career. And then again, once I found my dream career with niche, I found it, right? Cause I was like, I have a niche that’s working, but I know it’s not my soul’s calling, but I don’t know what it is.

[00:13:37] Jamie: And I love what you shared. It’s just like, I gave myself permission to Or when we don’t give ourselves this rushed energy of, I have to figure it out from my mind, it will unfold. Right. So that’s amazing. So when you did find coaching, you got certified, did you know right away you wanted to help high achievers create a calmer brain?

[00:13:58] Jamie: Did you know that? Okay. [00:14:00] Definitely not. Um,

[00:14:00] Cecelia: yeah. And I think permission is such a key thing there. And like, this is not something that I was born with or something that I got from my family, just like to be clear, obviously. I mean, you may, you might’ve gathered that from being, from becoming a geologist, but, um, it was something that I stepped into and I’m not sure why it felt so important to me when I left geology, but it was really like a commitment I made to myself.

[00:14:23] Cecelia: Like I give myself permission to explore until I find what I want. And I will say that I did. I was living in Denmark. I came back to the US and lived with my family for a little bit. And just to show you how strong stories and like gravitational forces of people are, I almost became an accountant. Like I took, I took a year’s worth of accounting prereqs.

[00:14:45] Cecelia: I took the GMAT. I got into like a top 10 accounting school and was about to start a master’s in accounting and had planned a breath work retreat. Also another vote for going for on retreat and like spent. The entire [00:15:00] 12 hour drive from Kripalu in Western Massachusetts back to Virginia crying, like essentially just saying on repeat, I don’t want to be an accountant.

[00:15:08] Cecelia: I don’t want to be an accountant. I don’t want to be an accountant.

[00:15:11] Jamie: Wow. Yeah. So

[00:15:13] Cecelia: it wasn’t like, I mean, I maybe I’m making it sound like it’s a straight line, but definitely was not a straight line, right? They were like twists and turns and all kinds of things. So then once I got into coaching, um, I, I think when, With business coaches, there’s like a lot of the advice is like, you just have to find your perfect avatar and you just have to know this.

[00:15:32] Cecelia: And like, and like, before you even get started, you have to know who you’re talking to and don’t bother talking if you’re going to talk to everyone. And I, it was like drilled into my head. And for me, it just meant that I was paralyzed because I didn’t really know who I wanted to talk to. Um, and so again, I leaned back.

[00:15:47] Cecelia: I was like, well, what was working? Well, permission was working. And so I was like, all right, I’m just going to give myself permission to go on Instagram and talk. And I’m just going to like, Post things. And I know that I can help people. And I [00:16:00] know that like, if I start talking, that’ll figure this out. If I’m starting doing instead of just thinking, then I’ll start getting there.

[00:16:05] Cecelia: And so that’s what I did.

[00:16:06] Jamie: So good. Yes. I’ve heard the saying you can’t drive a parked car, right? So it’s like a hundred percent. You get on there, give yourself permission to talk. It will find you. I always say that. I really do believe my niche found me. I didn’t go find it. from my mind. That didn’t work.

[00:16:20] Jamie: Right. Yeah, I know. And I

[00:16:21] Cecelia: would end up in the wrong one, like the wrong one, the one that I thought that I would be good at, or like the people that I thought that I should be speaking to. Yes. Um, yeah. And again, having already had a career where that was the case, like I just wasn’t interested in that anymore, right?

[00:16:36] Cecelia: Yeah,

[00:16:36] Jamie: totally, totally. So at what point did it evolve into what you’re doing now?

[00:16:41] Cecelia: Um, so that was probably about a year and a half ago and maybe even like, and before that, I think. with the people that were coming to me, that was a lot of what I was getting. But then it was just like me, like, Oh, this is who I like to work with.

[00:16:53] Cecelia: Like, let’s lock down on this. Like, let’s get my messaging around this in some way. Um, and that has been really helpful [00:17:00] to just to kind of, this is who I’m talking to. The, these are their traits. This are kind of like what we struggle with generally as people in that realm. And, um, And it’s been fun. I also live, um, in Maine on a small island, and so the other advice is like, oh, you should just go out and like meet people and talk to them.

[00:17:18] Cecelia: Like, the closest networking event is like five hours away. I have two young children, and we co sleep, like, I’m not going anywhere for a five hour night. It’s just not going to happen, right? Yeah. And so I knew pretty early that like I needed to make things like social media work for me. Um, and so it’s been really fun with that.

[00:17:37] Cecelia: Like I don’t dance on reels, but I talk on reels and like figuring out how to say things in a minute and a half has just been really great for my brain too.

[00:17:44] Jamie: Yes. Oh my gosh. And so good. So everybody go follow Cecilia. We’ll get, we’ll drop all the info at the end and in the show notes, but you give the greatest.

[00:17:54] Jamie: bite sized pieces of wisdom around this topic. I love following your [00:18:00] stories and everything. It’s so good. And I love that that’s what, you know, and, and that is so powerful to think, okay, yeah. So people say do it this way, but that’s not going to work for me. So what is going to work and how can I master that?

[00:18:12] Jamie: Right. And you did, and you’ve committed to that. So powerful. I love that. Yeah,

[00:18:17] Cecelia: and I think even just like to, to think about like, man, manifesting in that way too is like believing this can work. Yeah. Like believing that there doesn’t have to be a right way and that like I, if I go into this believing that this will reach the people it’s gonna reach, then it will reach them.

[00:18:32] Cecelia: Right. I like to think of the algorithm as like this beautiful manifestation tool that just. disseminates information as it needs to be disseminated instead of like this thing that I have to like fight against or like figure out and just like, please universe, like disperse my message.

[00:18:46] Jamie: Yes. And it’s working for you.

[00:18:48] Jamie: So tell us, I would love to hear, how do you use manifestation? They are like, are there practices that you use any thoughts that you find helpful because [00:19:00] you do have a big following?

[00:19:02] Cecelia: Um, so with that one, yeah, so I think I’ve used Without knowing it, manifestation as all of us have, right. Cause it’s always working, um, in my life in a lot of different ways.

[00:19:14] Cecelia: Like for instance, the first job I got in oil and gas, I decided, I mean, this shows you how committed I was to oil and gas. You’re supposed to really have a master’s to work as a geologist. And I was just like, I really don’t feel like getting a master’s in geology. I just decided I could get a job. Right.

[00:19:30] Cecelia: And so I went down and I got kind of an internship and then I, you know, And then I kind of heard what like other geologists were making it different places and I was like, Oh, I can totally make that like I can totally be and within like three months I had a different job that I was making almost 100, 000 a year like without a master’s.

[00:19:46] Cecelia: And so I think just being really clear on like, what I want, and believing that it’s available to me is maybe my most ongoing. Manifestation process that I didn’t even know I used for a long time. [00:20:00] Yes.

[00:20:01] Jamie: Is it something that you decide on as a choice and you realize, Hey, I want to do it this way. I’m just going to go all in.

[00:20:09] Jamie: Or is it something that you naturally believe in? How does that work for you?

[00:20:13] Cecelia: Um, so not always do I naturally believe in it, but it’s usually something I decide. And I figure out like, okay, if this were going to work or like, what, what do I not believe? Or what do I think, how do I think I’m going to get hung up?

[00:20:24] Cecelia: So for instance, with the geology. career, I think is a really interesting one because I mean, if you went to Houston, Texas right now and surveyed geologists, probably 99 percent of them have a master’s degree, right? Maybe more. Wow. And so that’s like this condition that I could have said like, well, there’s no way I’m going to get a job because they don’t have a master’s degree.

[00:20:44] Cecelia: And instead I thought like, okay, well that’s not a very helpful thing for me to believe. Um, I didn’t, I didn’t board it to myself with that. At that point in time in this way, but what I did was I recognized that that was a belief and I kind of like intentionally switch to people [00:21:00] without master’s degrees get jobs.

[00:21:01] Cecelia: Yeah. Right. So like it’s possible for me to get a job without a master’s degree. Yeah. And then all of a sudden like I could get behind that and like talk about it, and my undergraduate experience in a way that I could frame it differently. Right. So my brain was behind it. And now I think I With coaching and with the nervous system work that I do, and then being in your mastermind, I’m much more clear on, okay, if I’m looking to make this much money this month, or if I’m looking to like buy a house, or if I’m looking for these kinds of things, let me just like, kind of go through my brain, like, let me, I write a lot of things down, like, first thought, first thought download, or because I have young kids and My I have, I mean, this is, we can get into this if you want to, but like my, I love my schedule.

[00:21:46] Cecelia: Um, but I, I do it on walks. So I’ll like talk myself through, so I’ll say like, okay, well, like if this, if I’m thinking about this, what are the beliefs that come up? Um, and some of them are really positive, right? Like, Oh, it’d be so much [00:22:00] fun to make that much money. Oh, this is entirely possible. And then there are also thoughts where I was like on a walk crying this morning, um, being like, Uh, I don’t have to convolute myself to make money or to be worthy of receiving, right?

[00:22:13] Cecelia: Like, I don’t have to become something, somebody different to receive. I’m worthy of that right now. And that’s just like talking out loud to myself in the woods. Yeah.

[00:22:22] Jamie: Yes. Oh my God. It’s so powerful. I mean, Really, it is that simple. People just don’t do it around money.

[00:22:31] Cecelia: Yeah, right? Money seems so scary, right?

[00:22:33] Cecelia: It

[00:22:34] Jamie: does, right? It can. And it’s like something I feel like it’s so common to do the work on a lot of other things, but we avoid money. And, you know, your work on your beliefs about money will shift. Everything. Yeah. Yeah. And, and that’s a tribute to how much you have made right in, not, I mean, you haven’t been in this business for that long of a time.

[00:22:58] Jamie: So

[00:22:59] Cecelia: no. [00:23:00] Yeah. It’s been pretty quick for me. And I think, I mean, I heard like somebody, you know, they talk about like I was a 10 year overnight success and I feel like that’s kind of like my success in coaching as well. Like I haven’t been a coach for that long. Um, so I, as I was in my master’s, I dabbled in a little bit, I would say like I officially started my business in 20.

[00:23:18] Cecelia: 22, I think is when I like I filed an LLC. Yeah. Um, at the beginning of the year. And that was when I was like finished with my master’s, I was finished like seeing clients through because I was I wanted to finish the degree. And so I was seeing some like people in in counseling and in Okay. Um, and so Yeah, I think that success is attributed to the fact that like everything I’ve done before too, right?

[00:23:42] Cecelia: Because like, we forget that like, it’s everything we’ve done up to it. And I did so much work on my brain. Yeah. In the, so the yoga I do, you’re, you’re silent. There’s no one like leading the class. And so you show up. Yeah. And, you know, I’m going six days a week and I’m practicing for like, almost two hours every morning.

[00:23:58] Cecelia: Yeah. And I noticed that [00:24:00] like, every morning, my brain is calling me like, lazy and like, you’re like not worth it. And you’re like, what are you doing? And you’re like, you’re not good enough. And I’m just like, wait, what? Like lazy? Right. Like I’ve been here six mornings this week. I’m not lazy like that’s BS, right?

[00:24:15] Cecelia: Yeah. Um, and so I think getting, um, Being able to see yourself and meet yourself in coaching. And then like, particularly maybe with money because money stuff is just so deep. It’s so powerful.

[00:24:28] Jamie: Yes. Yes. And I think that’s such a good point that like you set the foundation before a solid foundation before you got started, because it can be misconceiving, right?

[00:24:38] Jamie: When people are like, wait a minute, How come I’m right? Like I started, how come that person’s doing that? Or in, in like, it does matter. Where did you, where were you when you got started? Right. Did you have a business before, or do you have a background in this or did you do the thought work before? How long, you know, and so that kind of stuff matters so much.

[00:24:57] Jamie: So I’m so glad you brought that forward. [00:25:00] But I am curious, since you’ve started doing work on your relationship with money and really doing the thought work around that in business, and like you said, adding that cognitive piece and that you felt was missing and kind of like with the yoga or the breath work, what have you seen happen in your business?

[00:25:20] Jamie: What are some of the things that you’ve manifested or results you’ve created as an effect of adding the two together?

[00:25:26] Cecelia: Yeah, I think, I mean, it’s just like fuel to fire on both ends, right? I think if you can. And this is what I see like in my coaching and then I’ll get into manifestation, like with my clients, if we’re only working on their brain, like they see results, obviously, but if we work on their brain, and we also work on like nervous system regulation, then it’s like, They’re just, they’re all of a sudden, you know, they meet me and they say, like, I’ve never worked on anything that I care about in life.

[00:25:49] Cecelia: And 12 weeks later, or, you know, 20 weeks later, all of a sudden they’re like, I’ve written half of a book. I changed, like I started a business, like I’m doing everything that’s important to me all of a sudden. [00:26:00] Um, and so when I think about like money and manifestation, I think because I have the tools to work with my brain, and because I have the tools to work with my body, I’m not scared of looking at things anymore.

[00:26:14] Cecelia: Where I think previously, I would have been scared to look at them. And I think if I’d started a business before I had these tools, um, I would have had a lot of perfectionism. I would have been really scared of failing. I would have made a month that was like, not great, mean something really bad about me.

[00:26:32] Cecelia: And instead, now I, now I can look back and say like, okay, well, that wasn’t That wasn’t a great like month financially, right? These are the numbers that I have. And I can look at that and I don’t make it mean something bad about me. And then I can get curious and say, look, what was going on? Like, where did I fall out of belief?

[00:26:47] Cecelia: What was I saying to myself, which I found that one of the patterns I get into is like, I can’t have two good months in a row. Right. Right. And so like, if I, Oh, okay. I can’t have two good months that are last month was a great [00:27:00] month. So like I had, this has to be a down month, but I can’t have upper limit over and over.

[00:27:04] Cecelia: Right. And so it’s like, Oh, okay. So now I just know that’s there and now I get to work with it. And now I get to see if I can create some, what else do I believe? Right. If this isn’t true, this isn’t ultimately true. And I don’t believe that people have to have like bad months after good months. Well, what could I believe for me then?

[00:27:23] Jamie: So what are you believing now? You got to hear.

[00:27:26] Cecelia: I can, I can always get better and better as a thought I’m practicing right now. Like, I think I heard, um, you shared something from Myron Golden, who I’d never heard of before on Instagram stories the other day. Okay. And I went and watched something else from him.

[00:27:44] Cecelia: And he, in this one, he was talking like he was bringing in Bible verses and things like that. And I wouldn’t identify as Christian, although I’ve had a very like, um, I’m very spiritual and actually have had like the last couple months have been very into Jesus. But he was talking about [00:28:00] like, how it’s like God’s desire that like our life is always getting better.

[00:28:03] Cecelia: And I was like, Oh, I love that. Yeah. Like, what a thing. Like, I’m, it’s not that I have to have good and bad. It’s that everything always gets to get better and better. I keep to get like growing and like improving and like, and that just felt so good. Good.

[00:28:18] Jamie: I love it. That’s such a good thought. A hundred percent.

[00:28:23] Jamie: I love that. That’s so good. And you know what is so divine about that? And I, I see this happening for me. I see it happen with clients is, um, Once we are willing to identify an unhelpful thought, we’re like, Oh, I’m ready to move out of that. I’m ready to release that. But we’re like, I don’t have a new thought to replace it with.

[00:28:42] Jamie: I’m still kind of in it, but you set that intention. Like, I don’t want to hold onto this story that I can’t have two months in a, you know, two good months in a row. And you really declare that. The universe is going to bring you what you need in some miraculous way. I’m going to share some random thing that I don’t even remember sharing.

[00:28:59] Jamie: And like, [00:29:00] you know what I mean? Like,

[00:29:01] Cecelia: yeah, yeah, exactly.

[00:29:02] Jamie: You’re like, I can see your face.

[00:29:04] Cecelia: You’re like, who’s Myron Goldberg. I don’t even

[00:29:06] Jamie: know. I don’t remember that. It was probably just something someone else shared that I was inspired by. And that’s hilarious. I love it. So amazing how that happens. It’s like when you’re ready for it, the teacher finds you or the message finds you.

[00:29:21] Jamie: So it’s just, it’s so powerful to hear that. And

[00:29:25] Cecelia: I think that like with it in that kind of like same thinking space, I’ve become really open to that and aware of it. So, for instance, before I might have seen somebody share something like that and something to me would have been like, oh, that’s interesting, but I never would have followed through with it.

[00:29:43] Cecelia: But now if there’s something in me that kind of like reverberates, you know, like we’re resonating on the same thing, I follow, like I go and I’ll like watch the whole reel and then like, If, if it’s still there, then like, I’ll go and watch a YouTube of them. Or if there’s like a book, someone mentions that for some reason it like [00:30:00] sticks in my head, then I’ll immediately get the audible.

[00:30:02] Cecelia: I listened to a lot of books instead of reading again, because my children right now. And so like, then I just have it. And then it’s, I’m like, believing that I’m being guided in that way, which is really powerful, I think. And I’ve been exposed to so many amazing things for that

[00:30:18] Jamie: reason. Totally, totally. I love that so much.

[00:30:20] Jamie: Oh my gosh. Well, I want to dive into the part that you were talking about at the beginning of the call where you said, I help my clients create a calmer brain and create epic things. That’s not the word that you use, but you know, still to be creators, not to be like, let’s go calm down in Bali and just meditate.

[00:30:39] Jamie: Right. Unless you feel called in that season to do that. But a lot of people feel called to create things and be calm. So I’m curious, how do you help people realize that, that it, that is a possibility? Absolutely. Or can you share a little bit more about that?

[00:30:54] Cecelia: Yeah, totally. I mean, I actually think That you have, and you mentioned this, I think you have to [00:31:00] have the calm foundation before you can create.

[00:31:02] Cecelia: And I think that’s why I’ve been so successful, um, pretty quickly in coaching is because I had the foundation and I was starting from a really regulated, really grounded place. And of course I have more work to do. Like we all always have work to do. So I’m not saying that I’m like, I’m sitting here on my legs and mountain over here in Maine, um, but.

[00:31:22] Cecelia: That with my clients, you know, a lot of them come with like burnout or procrastination or like they’re angry at their spouse a lot for not doing what they think they should do or whatever it is. And what they don’t recognize is is that once they figure out the calm there, they’re going to release themselves to be a bigger version of themselves.

[00:31:44] Cecelia: And once we release the, like, for instance, a lot of shame and like negative self talk and being really mean to ourselves, I mean, high achievers, and we believe that this is the thing that is like, driving us, right?

[00:31:56] Jamie: We’re like, we can’t like get rid of like judging ourselves and being hard on [00:32:00] ourselves and the pressure because we will never create anything.

[00:32:03] Jamie: Yeah.

[00:32:03] Cecelia: And what do you mean? I’m never going to do anything. If I’ve stopped being hard on myself, if I stopped like creating this plan that I know I can’t do and like shaming myself every night. And like, there’s no way I’m going to do anything tomorrow. Um, yeah. And what we don’t realize is that when we are shaming ourselves and resisting ourselves, we’re throwing our nervous system into that sympathetic state, right?

[00:32:23] Cecelia: Which is the fight, flight, freeze, flaunt, fawn, all the Fs ones. And when you’re there, your capacity to be creative, your capacity to connect with yourself and other people, and your capacity to cognitively think are hampered. And like way dialed down, so you’re operating at some like small percentage of your own capacity.

[00:32:43] Cecelia: And so once we figure out how to become, and that’s creating that, that regulation in your nervous system and also shifting the thoughts that are leading you back to the, that activated state, all of a sudden, you have all of this capacity to become who you’re supposed to be. Right. And to feel [00:33:00] amazing while you’re doing it, not to say that you won’t have bad days or things won’t happen that are tough, but that in general, you’ll be in this like grounded.

[00:33:10] Cecelia: Um, expansive state that you can really ask like, okay, well now what do I want to do? And now that I know what I want to do, like how big do I want to go with it?

[00:33:19] Jamie: Wow.

[00:33:20] Cecelia: And that could be anything from like being a mom to like running a company to like running a country, right? It’s like, there’s no, you can be what in whatever realm you’re in.

[00:33:27] Cecelia: But I really do think that we have to figure out how to work with ourselves first. And if once we do that, then we can do anything.

[00:33:34] Jamie: Wow. I love that. So if. If there’s listeners who are like the overachievers, those who, you know, they know how to take action, but they don’t know how to rest. They don’t know.

[00:33:46] Jamie: They, they haven’t learned this skill yet. And other than of course, coming and following you, working with you, are there things that you would recommend people just like to dip their toes in? Like what, how could someone get started just starting to comb their brain a [00:34:00] bit? There’s a reputation you have.

[00:34:02] Cecelia: So my first simplest recommendation is when you notice that you’re going into anxiety or, you know, shame spiraling or whatever it is for you, you’re getting into anger, whatever it is, we’re starting to cultivate a gentle observer. And so, usually what I advise people to do is the first thing you’re doing is you’re noticing.

[00:34:21] Cecelia: Right. And you can name it out loud to yourself. So I’m like beating myself up because I didn’t finish the report when I said I would. And then creating a space of calm for yourself. And that’s as simple as saying I’m safe in this moment and taking a slow breath, right? It does so much for our nervous system to do that.

[00:34:41] Cecelia: And then you can just ask or say or have the intention. I’m open to seeing this differently. I’m open to behaving differently. Really truly that’s like a 30 second to one minute practice and it is very transformative. I’ve had people write into me who said, um, like I started doing that protocol you talk about [00:35:00] and like after 30 years of therapy and like a month of doing this, my whole life has changed.

[00:35:05] Cecelia: Wow. Like 30 years of therapy didn’t do it. But like, I’ve been doing this for a month and all of a sudden I’m like, don’t have crippling anxiety anymore. Right. I’m able to get out of the house. Yeah. I’m no longer yelling at my partner or my kids. And so I think that So the steps again, it’s like noticing what you’re doing and naming it in a nonjudgmental way, creating safety by taking a breath if you can, and just reminding yourself you’re safe out loud, and then asking to, to, to perceive it differently, to act differently.

[00:35:33] Cecelia: Yeah. Um, and that alone will do so much.

[00:35:35] Jamie: That’s so big. I love that so much. It’s taking

[00:35:39] Cecelia: like mindfulness and cognitive science and like coaching and it’s like boiling it down to like, like just a little bit, right. But it’s a seed that you’re planting for yourself, um, that will continue to grow as long as you continue to care for it.

[00:35:53] Cecelia: Oh

[00:35:53] Jamie: my gosh. So good. So good. This is work. I mean, because I am someone who like. I don’t know. I [00:36:00] just came in as an over, I don’t know if I call it an overachiever, but a very driven, you’re driven, right? Yeah. Driven, ambitious. Right. And I always like, I remember talking to a therapist once and I was like, there was a problem with me.

[00:36:12] Jamie: I’m both highly, highly, highly, highly sensitive and empathetic. And I’m also. So super driven and ambitious and it competes and I don’t know how to handle myself. Right. And so it’s truly been literally, cause I only learned how to do the like ambitious side of like being in the masculine. And then this highly sensitive side was always like drained and exhausted and like, what are you doing to me?

[00:36:36] Jamie: Right. And so I’ve had to learn also how to create safety and rest and take breaks. to really create that balance between the masculine and feminine that you talk about. So it’s so powerful and it’s work that’s so worth doing 100%. Right. It changes. Yeah. And

[00:36:54] Cecelia: if you can do it, it’s like, it’s so nourishing then.

[00:36:58] Cecelia: Right. Because then like, The [00:37:00] masculine driven like external part of you can like have these ideas and you can like check in with yourself and say like, do I have the energy to do that right now? Do I have the desire to do that right now? Yes. Okay. Well then let’s move forward. And then you can notice when you’re starting to get into these old patterns and say like, okay, well, something must be happening.

[00:37:15] Cecelia: Pause, check in with myself. Okay. What am I, what am I missing? Um, how haven’t I been caring for myself? How can I start to get better? back to that space. And not that I need to stop doing what I’ve been doing, but I need to care for myself as I’m doing it. And I really do think that like, deep down, we’re all really high achievers.

[00:37:34] Cecelia: Yeah. Right. And some of us do come in here, more driven or ambitious for whatever reason during this life. Um, but that we all can do so much. And if we’re not caring for ourselves, then we’re just like, our potential is So untapped. It

[00:37:50] Jamie: totally is. And it’s not, it’s not even enjoyable, right? It’s like you can achieve, achieve, achieve, but you will never actually like receive what you’re enjoying, right?

[00:37:59] Jamie: Like I [00:38:00] would make money, but I didn’t even receive the fact that that was happening. I didn’t feel it. So it makes such a difference. So, oh my gosh, I love it. Yeah. So I want to dive into a little bit of like the manifestation piece. We’ve talked about it a bit, but I always like to ask, well, first, Are you open to sharing some of the fun things you’ve manifested?

[00:38:21] Jamie: Yeah, totally. I didn’t talk about your manifestation practice or like, yeah.

[00:38:26] Cecelia: Yeah. So I’ve manifested, manifested,

[00:38:33] Cecelia: I’ve manifested, um, over 200, 000 in the last 12 months in my business. Um, my biggest month has been a 42, 000 month, which is really exciting. Um, manifested, Uh, like a full beta run of one of my programs and 24 people that are in it now, um, and just a full one on one client load. So those are some of like the things that have come in and really flow in my business.

[00:38:59] Cecelia: I [00:39:00] think has been really powerful and I will say this is all done working about 20 hours a week or less. Yeah. So I’m not, I’m not hustling. I work part time and I’m mom part time. Yeah. Um, and. I think in some ways it’s very great for my overly ambitious brain. Um, and. It’s because of the manifestation and like the energetics I get to enjoy life too.

[00:39:24] Cecelia: And I think that’s really helped me because I’m not forcing it, right. I’m not hustling my way to do any of this.

[00:39:30] Jamie: Oh my gosh. Yes. So with that and all that you’ve manifested, and I know there’s been lots of other things, that’s like a business side, but you manifest in your home. You have this gorgeous forest that you live in that, I mean, it’s just beautiful.

[00:39:42] Jamie: Right. And A beautiful family and all of that. So what would you say your, if you were to kind of break down your manifestation practice or process, what would you say that is?

[00:39:55] Cecelia: Yeah, so I think it’s not that dissimilar in life and in [00:40:00] business. I mean, we’re one person, right? Totally. Um, for me, it’s, okay, what, asking the question, what do I want, or what do I, for me, want feels a little bit like grassy or something, like, I used to remember, like, making a Christmas list and like, everything that I want, and it was like, I mean, it was very detailed, it was like, written down with numbers and everything like that.

[00:40:22] Cecelia: Um, Versus like, what do I desire in my life is like a much me like if want is like, uh, graspy and looking down, desire is like open and like, um, like my higher self almost becomes involved when I asked desire. And so it’s really asking, for instance, with our home, um, my husband and I just really talked a lot, like, what do we desire?

[00:40:45] Cecelia: Like what’s really important to us. And you know, a couple of things kept coming up. He’s a farmer. There was enough land to have. The farm. Um, we wanted to be on the water. So we’re right on the Atlantic. We wanted to have views [00:41:00] of nature. So we didn’t want to be looking at like other homes. So everything that we can see from our house are preserved islands or like our own forest.

[00:41:10] Cecelia: We wanted to be connected to natural lands. Um, those are maybe the most important things. So, so we got really clear on what it was we desired. And then from that space, I try and step into, and I’ve been working on this a lot over the last year of like living into my future self or being in the future when I already have it.

[00:41:32] Cecelia: And then being grateful for what I already have. So how would I feel if I were already living there? If I was like waking up and seeing the ocean first thing, how would I feel if I was able to like, Take a dip in the Atlantic as much as I wanted to. Um, how would that feel? What would that be like in my life?

[00:41:48] Cecelia: And starting to feel those feelings and then like consciously be grateful for them.

[00:41:52] Jamie: Yes. So, um,

[00:41:55] Cecelia: Yeah, so that I think is and visualizing I’m not [00:42:00] super great at visualizing but just like talking my through myself through like what it would be like there. Right. What would a day be like right. So maybe I’d go on a walk through the woods and then I’d go for a swim and then like, Maybe as I’d be making breakfast, I could like watch the black ducks.

[00:42:16] Cecelia: So they’re like nesting in the spring or whatever it is. Right. Oh my gosh. Um, and so with my business, it’s the same kind of thing. So getting clear on like, okay, well, what kind of program do I want or what kind of clients do I want and who are they and what are they like, and from a money perspective, like that they can pay me, right?

[00:42:33] Cecelia: So they’re excited to pay me on that. They’re that they’re happy to they’re capable and happy to pay me every single month or when they sign up. And really like feeling into that. And then also when I do have it, celebrating it and being grateful, cause I think that’s so like, we forget that step.

[00:42:50] Jamie: Yep. Yep.

[00:42:51] Cecelia: Like we forget to have it once we have it. And so living where I live every time I’m out in the woods. And if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see it. Cause I talk a lot in the [00:43:00] woods is I like, I like to like, remember, like, I’m like, I’m living my dream life. Like, this is what I wanted. This is what I thought about and I’m here and I’m so happy.

[00:43:10] Cecelia: Right. This feels so good.

[00:43:12] Jamie: Oh, my gosh, that’s so good because I think like you said it is like our brain if we don’t intentionally do that and remind ourselves to our brain will always just because we’re humans that are meant to evolve. It’s not a problem. It’s not a flaw, but are we’re always going to go to Yeah.

[00:43:29] Jamie: What’s next? We get the thing and then what’s next, what’s next? We don’t actually enjoy the richness of like, Oh my gosh, that was 10 years ago or five years ago would be like, what? This is my life. And we don’t soak that in. So I love that that’s a conscious practice. And then when you do that, you also know how to tap into the practice of giving thanks ahead of time for things that are on their way.

[00:43:51] Jamie: Which is like manifesting from a place of wholeness, right? It’s not manifesting from a place of I need more to be happier or more worthy or better. And [00:44:00] so it makes sense that things just fall into alignment and that you have manifested things so quickly.

[00:44:06] Cecelia: Yeah, there’s like no graspiness around it. And I think there’s also like this element of.

[00:44:10] Cecelia: And I’ve had a hard time putting words around it until pretty recently. Like, I mean, some people use the word surrender and yoga. It’s like non attachment, but it’s like the, this or something better, the like, for instance, with this property, it was like, well, we’re not sure exactly where it’s going to be.

[00:44:25] Cecelia: Right. And so we were open to like looking in different areas. It was, you need to be like on this road with like this, it wasn’t this exact house. Right. It was like, this is like the feeling of it. This is what we’re going for. Um, and like with clients, it’s not like, I pick out one person on my Instagram follower list.

[00:44:40] Cecelia: I’m like, that’s the person who I need to work with versus like, okay, I have great conversations and I trust that like the right people are always coming, but things. This is another belief that I practice, um, a lot is that things are always working out for my good and in my favor, um, which just feels good to me too.

[00:44:58] Cecelia: Like I don’t need to [00:45:00] engineer things, which I’ve spent a lot of my life trying to do.

[00:45:05] Jamie: Yes. Oh my gosh. Incredible. Oh my gosh. I feel like we could talk forever. It’s so fun, right? It’s so fun having these conversations. I love it so much. I just so appreciate you being here and I would love to have you share.

[00:45:23] Jamie: Um, a little more about where listeners can find you, follow you, work with you, all that good stuff because they’re going to want more and we only have, you know, this amount of time for a podcast interview. So, yeah, totally.

[00:45:35] Cecelia: Um, so I, um, you can find me most easily on Instagram and I’m sure my handle will be in the show notes.

[00:45:42] Cecelia: But it’s Cecilia with two E’s, B Mandrick, um, and I’m there and I show up a lot on reels. I’m trying to be in stories a little bit more, but it’s generally me walking or talking or doing something like that in the woods. And again, this was something I was like, how can I make Instagram and reels work for me?

[00:45:58] Cecelia: I like talking about what I do. [00:46:00] And so I just talk about things and I try to provide. actionable or like valuable tips or like perspectives. So, um, I try not, it’s not too fluffy in there. Um, so come, people come back for the content. Yeah. Um, I also have pretty regular workshops and masterclasses and I’m assuming this will come out in May at some point.

[00:46:20] Cecelia: So maybe I will have one coming up or. Awesome. Um, and that will be on Instagram as well. Perfect. That’s the easiest place to find me.

[00:46:27] Jamie: Awesome. Yeah. Send us, send us your website. Well, you already did. I’ll put your website and are those on there if they go? Yes, they are. Okay. Perfect. So yeah, definitely would be worth attending that.

[00:46:39] Jamie: So

[00:46:39] Cecelia: yeah. And then if, if people want to work together, I work with folks one on one, but I also have um, a lifetime access group. That’s called Calm Brain Academy. And it’s, I love it. I feel like the luckiest person in the world every week when I get to coach in there, which I’m sure you feel about the movement.

[00:46:55] Cecelia: And with this mastermind, um, I really like, I go for a walk most days [00:47:00] afterwards and I’m just like beaming and I love my clients and I love the space and I love everything we’re doing in there. I think there’s something really magical about group spaces so like I feel the same way about the mastermind right like being in.

[00:47:14] Cecelia: community while you’re making these changes is so affirming and it’s so normalizing. And for me, I get to learn so much about my brain and the mastermind and I can watch my clients do it in this space. So that’s like a vote for Combrain Academy, but also for the mastermind if you’re thinking about it, it’s like really, really an amazing place.

[00:47:33] Cecelia: And I’m, um, I think it’s hard to find a mastermind that is As like beautifully spacious and juicy and nourishing as the, the environment that you’ve created. That’s like really like affirming. Um, and it’s not like nitty gritty how tos, even though those come up and you get support around it, it’s like really I don’t know the right word for [00:48:00] it, but it’s a really beautiful space.

[00:48:01] Cecelia: I really love being there.

[00:48:02] Jamie: Thank you. Oh my gosh. Can I, I have to ask you a question real quick about it because yeah, well, I, you, I love that. First of all, how much you’ve grown and expanded in there and Also, you know, you have three kiddos right now and you are working 20 hours a week. So you’re not able to show up to the calls and get coaching a lot.

[00:48:24] Jamie: Right. And like, oftentimes you’ll be off video, but you’re listening or you listen to the replays. And yet you’ve expanded so much. How do you give yourself permission to do it in your way and to take what you want? Because I’ve had some clients in the past or like, I’ve just noticed, you know, people are like, I have to do it all perfectly.

[00:48:43] Jamie: I have to do this. I have to, you know, otherwise I’m not getting everything out of it. And I want to know what your perspective is on that because I’ve seen such expansion and, you know, you’re doing it in your own way that works for you. And I love that.

[00:48:56] Cecelia: I mean, you could also like watch me in the mastermind and be like, she’s not, I mean, if [00:49:00] you were not saying you’re doing this, but like, if you were like grading people on like masterminding, you would say like, Cecilia should get an F because I don’t think I’ve been coached once actually live.

[00:49:11] Cecelia: Maybe I have. Um, I’m never on video. I’m like, always just listening. Um, and so. I think this goes back to the permission that I gave myself when I left geology of like to do things my way and the belief that I will get exactly what I need. Yeah. Um, and that I’m allowed to live life in a way that serves me.

[00:49:33] Cecelia: I don’t have to do it in the way that I think I’m supposed to be doing it. And in fact, when I do it in the way that I think I’m supposed to be doing it, I’m always in resistance. My nervous system is always activated. I’m not actually getting anything or I’m getting very little when I can say, okay, I’m going Well, here, the fact is the mastermind call, the group that I’m in is Thursdays at 2pm Eastern time.

[00:49:54] Cecelia: And that’s when I’m with my kids. And, um, that’s okay. I [00:50:00] trust that I’m going to get exactly what I need from the call. And I get so much from them, honestly. Like I think I posted last week in our Slack about how much I got out of it. Um, and I’m not active. Right. Um, and so I think it’s, it’s really the permission and just the belief that like, I’m going to get what I need out of this.

[00:50:16] Jamie: Yes. I love that. And actually I never, like, I don’t ever have the thought of like, how someone shows up like matters. I would never grade someone because I have seen so many. So much evidence. Like I remember my very first mastermind around that I ever launched it. And there was one person who never showed up.

[00:50:35] Jamie: I never saw her once. And I was like, I’m going to, you know, I just believe people are going to show up in the way that they want and they’re going to get what they came for. I just have that belief. And I just, I still hold the container as everyone’s here for the transformation. Right. And, um, Like she wrote me at the end, this testimonial that was just like, this changed my entire life.

[00:50:56] Jamie: I watched the replays. I know I never came, but [00:51:00] like, I literally manifested this and this. And I was like, evidence, you get to show up however you want. I see it in the movement all the time. There’s people I’ve never met, but they’re like, Oh my gosh, this work changed everything. So I offer, I wanted to talk about that a little bit from like your perspective of giving yourself permission, but also if you are a coach.

[00:51:19] Jamie: Giving your clients permission to show up how they want to and get what, like, really seeing them as, you know, a wholehearted adult who gets to choose exactly how they show up and to get what they want out of it. And that exchange just works out. So for sharing that.

[00:51:35] Cecelia: No, it’s so powerful. And it’s something that like, honestly, I coach on at least once a month and in my group of like somebody saying like, I’m supposed to be getting the most out of this, right?

[00:51:44] Cecelia: We have this thought, I’m supposed to be doing it in a certain way. And we just like, come back to like, trusting I’m getting exactly what I need at this point in time. And if I want to do it differently next month, I can also do it differently, but it doesn’t have to look a certain way for transformation to [00:52:00] happen.

[00:52:00] Cecelia: And I, man, I said this prayer to myself that I made up. Like every morning for I don’t know how long and one of the lines was, um, my way is not the right way. There’s not a right way to do things. And it’s just like, I mean, it changed my brain on such a fundamental level because I was definitely somebody who’s like, you have to do it this way.

[00:52:21] Cecelia: You have to do it the right way. I have to show up this way. I have to do these things.

[00:52:24] Jamie: Yes. Um,

[00:52:24] Cecelia: and if I do it in this way, then I will get the result. And now I just believe, like, if I believe I’m going to get the result, I’m going to get the result. And I continue to show up. Right. Right. Like I take, I take action, but it’s not like, like, it’s not about the formula.

[00:52:38] Cecelia: It’s about the like belief and like continuing to take courageous action in the direction of your dreams. Oh my God.

[00:52:44] Jamie: Yes. Gold right there. Seriously. We will leave you all with that because truly that is. And if you try too hard to fit into the formula, it’s just not going to work. It’s going to be super frustrating.

[00:52:58] Jamie: So yes, I [00:53:00] love it. Thank you so much, Cecilia. You’re the best. Thank you for being here. I am so excited for this episode to come out.

[00:53:06] Cecelia: It was so fun and I never do this, but I’m going to take a picture because I always forget to do this and I always love when other people do. But yeah, it was so much fun. Um, thank you for being here.

[00:53:16] Cecelia: If you’re, I mean, I’ll just say as a client of Jamie’s, if you’re called to her work at all, like you’ll love it the deeper you get, like the closer you get to her, the more you’ll love it. So if you’ve been to like a free thing, or you like the podcast, or you like what she puts on Instagram, um, you’re worthy of support.

[00:53:32] Cecelia: Go in there, join the movement or join the mastermind. Um, they’re amazing places to be.

[00:53:37] Jamie: Thank you. You’re welcome.

[00:53:38] Cecelia: Oh my God.
