Loren lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks with PCOS!
She shares her success story. Be ready to get inspired!
Here’s what she says:
Before I started coaching, my biggest struggle was my weight. I yo-yo no matter how hard I tried to maintain a ‘balanced diet’. I was always stuck in a plateau and felt that it affected my confidence. I did not have a healthy relationship with food before coaching, I had emotional hunger and always gave in to it. I signed up for coaching because I wanted to fix my relationship with food and mindset around it.
In the past, I have tried counting macros, weight watchers, delivered meal services, whole 30, basically any fad diet under the sun. While I did have success in losing a lot of my weight, it did not help to fix the emotional barriers holding me back from reaching my goals.
Through coaching, I have gained not only confidence around healthy eating and food choices, but feel so much more on top of my everyday life. I am more focused and driven in all aspects of life such as school, work, and relationships. Protocols that Jamie has set up for me keep me in check and are a tool I will be able to use in the long run.
I have also learned to trust the process. The hardest part was quitting sugar and flour cold turkey. Once I got past the barrier of it being hard and learned to face the urges, it was game on. For me, once my body started responding it was worth it to me to continue this lifestyle change. I currently eat for fuel, not to cover my emotions. This change has helped a lot with my PCOS. I have more energy throughout the day and have also been sleeping through the night.
Since coaching, I have felt more confident and in control of my decisions. I don’t question myself or think twice, I stick to my plan and make sure that I am setting myself up for success.
What advice would you give to someone struggling with their weight and with PCOS?
It is hard and it’s ok to know there will be ups and downs. I still have bad days and times where I want to eat everything and anything I can find. It will take time and you are human. These protocols DO work and on my journey to healing my body and PCOS, this is the best I have ever felt.
Here’s what worked….
I have been sharing my journey with Jamie with friends throughout my coaching. Her weekly homework and challenges are incredible, and I love being able to discuss with others. Having PCOS is very difficult, especially when every doctor or specialist is telling you to follow a different path. It was an incredible experience to work with someone so talented who has been through it. I had never thought to focus as much on the emotional aspect of food and triggers but can easily say it was the most important. I felt so supported throughout coaching and excited I now have these tools to carry with me throughout my journey. I hope I can work with Jamie again one day!
